We are pleased to provide you with the recently released 2011 Deloitte Annual 401k Benchmarking Survey.
The survey contains a wealth of information related to plan sponsors key concerns, plan design trends, and overall satisfaction levels as it relates to various aspects of their 401k plans. Among the Hot Topics of greatest concern with plan sponsors now: 1) fee disclosure regulations 2) selecting the right investment options to better enable participants to achieve their financial goals, and 3) reducing plan sponsor fiduciary risks.
Although there has been a relatively high level of information available regarding the new fee disclosure requirements, there is still a relatively low level of understanding of their responsibilities in this area. In addition, there continues to be tremendous upside potential to improve the effectiveness of participant education in an effort to increase their retirement readiness.
